Odessa, Texas client is seeking a Geological Technician . This person will play a key role in the compilation and maintenance of a variety of geological, mapping, production, operations and regulatory data, and technical analysis of a wide variety of opportunities. Areas of focus and activity include West Texas / Permian Basin.
In addition to providing direct Geo Tech support, the candidate will be involved in prospect and acquisition review and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and proficient Geo Tech with proficient knowledge of the oilfield.
Requirements:
5+ years minimum oil and gas geological technician experience.
Must have experience with Petra software.
Demonstrated work ethic and leadership capabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
