One of the largest distributors of gasoline, diesel, and lubricant products in the southwestern and south central United States seeks a motiviated Credit Manager. the ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, Accounting or related field of study with 4 to 5 years of management experience. The Credit Manager responsibilites include but are not limited to review of credit applications, establishing lines of credit and conducting annual credit reviews. The Credit Manager will also assist the Collections Supervisor in management of the collectors through training, mentoring, discipline and reviews as well as production of department reports. Additional requirements include:
* Abilty to analyze customer financial statements
* Knowledge in secured transactions
* Basic understanding of bankruptcy laws, collection laws, and lien laws
* Customer service oriented with good communication skills both verbal and written
* Experience in working with local and national companies
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
